Hood River Yacht Club sponsors a full sailboat racing calendar including both buoy and point-to-point races.
The weekly Wednesday Night race series runs April through October. These friendly races sail a variety of courses, starting and finishing just west of the Hood River Bridge. HRYC sponsors a number of weekend regattas, including both One Design and PHRF fleets. The club also organizes a number of point-to-point regattas, including the famous Double Damned Race from Cascade Locks to The Dalles.
