Volunteers Needed for 2022 RS Aero World Champions...
Author Last Post

Attention Gorge Sailors and Supporters,

The CGRA is hosting the 2022 RS Aero World Championship June 25 – July 1st. This is the first Aero Worlds held since the COVID pandemic began. The Seattle Aero fleet is helping CGRA to organize the regatta to make it the best event it can be. There is need for some volunteer support on the water, which is the best place to be for up close viewing. If you have some time and interest to help support the event, we would be very grateful. Come on down and see some the worlds best sailors in action right here in our home waters.

CGRA is looking for people to help in the inflatable powerboats and maybe as an extra person on the RC boats, if they need it. No special qualifications required, although if someone is comfortable operating a safety support boat, that is a plus. We can use people for the whole event or even just a few days. Not sure yet how many people would be needed, will have a better idea once we know how many safety/mark boats we have available, but we are sure at least a few would be a help.
